Phet took a deep breath just as he was about to make some decisions.
"So, let me ask you first, and I'll answer your question," Phet asked him. He nodded, waiting for the question.
"Do you have feelings for me?"
The question stunned him, like being struck unpreparedly. If it had come from others, he could have laughed out loud. But this time, he stood still and found himself speechless.
"'Are you holding on to me because you have feelings for me?' he asked once more, raising his eyebrow, his expression unchanged.
After being stunned for a moment, he forced a chuckle and replied, "You're flattering yourself, Phet. When I say 'like,' I mean just that. Why bother interpreting it any further?"
