Communication, critical thinking and problem solving have all been identified as twenty-first century skills which will equip learners to be successful in the rapidly developing global workforce. University English: Intermediate aims to develop English communication proficiency in all four skill areas, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing. It offers the learners an opportunity to develop these critical skills by immersing them in the language and presenting learners with critical issues and challenging problems presently facing society.
